What we store

Your email address and first name; your phone number if you sell; your listings, ticket files and orders. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.

If you buy a ticket that lives in an app, the name and email you give for the transfer are shared with the seller, only so they can transfer the ticket to you.

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and what you want to do (buy, sell or organise), only to send you one email when Spare opens. The link in that email removes you from the list.

Why

To sign you in, deliver tickets, pay sellers and prevent fraud. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who sees it

Buyers see the seller's first name. After a purchase, buyer and seller can message each other through Spare; email addresses stay hidden. Phone numbers are only visible to Spare.

Messages

Messages between buyers and sellers go through Spare. To protect you from scams, phone numbers, email addresses, links and payment details are hidden automatically. Messages where something was hidden, or that talk about paying outside Spare, are kept in their original form so our team can review them in case of fraud or a reported problem.
