How it works
Buying and selling a ticket takes a minute. Here's what happens in between.
Buying
- Find your ticket. Every ticket is listed by night, with the total price shown up front.
- Pay with iDEAL or card. You pay the seller's price plus a 8% (min. €1.50) service fee.
- Download it straight away. Your ticket is in your account and your inbox right after paying.
Ticket doesn't work at the door? Report it within 48 hours after the night and you get your money back.
Selling
- Verify your phone number once. Buyers never see it; we only use it if something goes wrong.
- Post your ticket. Venue, date, price and the ticket file. It takes about a minute.
- Get paid. As soon as the buyer confirms the ticket worked, and at the latest 48 hours after the night: your price minus the seller fee.

No hidden costs. Buyers see the total price including the service fee in the list, and sellers see exactly what they'll receive before they post.
Safety
- Your payment is held until after the event, not passed straight to the seller.
- Every seller has a verified phone number and email address.
- The same ticket file can only be listed once.
- Payments run through Stripe; we never see or store your bank details.
Questions
Am I allowed to resell my ticket?
Usually yes, but some organisers ban resale or print your name on the ticket. Check the event's terms before you sell.
Which tickets can I list?
Tickets as a PDF or image with a QR code or barcode. Tickets that only live inside an organiser's app can't be sold on Spare yet.
What if the seller sells the same ticket somewhere else too?
Report it from your order before the payout date. You get your money back and the seller is blocked.
When do I get paid as a seller?
48 hours after the night of the event, as long as the buyer hasn't reported a problem. You set up payouts once through Stripe with your IBAN.
Can I edit or remove my listing?
You can remove it any time before it sells. Want a different price? Remove it and post it again.
